The company came into being in 1990 with the setting up of Dyes manufacturing unit at Naroda, Ahmedabad. Sanjay Industries embarked upon two stage backward integration by setting up India's largest Dyestuff intermediate manufacturing facility and largest basic chemicals facility at Vatva, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. To strengthen its competitive edge in the Dyes vertical, Sanjay Industries set up manufacturing facility for Dyes at Naroda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
